It’s that time of year again, when supporters of Special Olympics Minnesota jump into frigid waters for the annual statewide Polar Plunge. This event is presented by Minnesota Law Enforcement and funds raised will help over 8,200 Minnesotan athletes who participate in Special Olympic programs.
On Saturday, March 2nd, jumpers and supporting spectators will gather within the gates of Breezy Point Resort on Pelican Lake. Check-in takes place at 10:30 a.m., with the plunge starting at 1 p.m. Fundraising is required to jump (minimum of $75) and registration can be found here. Spectating is free, so come cheer on those braving the icy waters!
